Mary Beth Fox was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, she launched her marketing career with Goody’s before taking on executive leadership roles at Eckerd Drug Stores and Bealls. Despite her professional success, Mary Beth felt a strong pull back to the Tennessee hills—drawn by the close-knit communities, family-centered values, and the life she cherished in East Tennessee.

Returning home, she joined the start-up team at Altar’d State and later helped launch A’Beautiful Soul. Over nearly a decade, Mary Beth wore many hats, ultimately serving as Chief Brand Officer. In that role, she led marketing, visual merchandising, retail operations, e-commerce, real estate, store design and construction, and merchandising. Her leadership, warmth, and fierce dedication to the team earned her the nickname “Mama Bear.”

Her deep love for East Tennessee eventually inspired a new chapter. Having successfully persuaded numerous executives from across the country to relocate to Knoxville, Mary Beth realized she had a natural talent for showcasing the region’s charm—its vibrant downtown, scenic lakes and mountains, strong schools, and welcoming communities.

Combined with her hands-on experience designing, building, and decorating over 120 boutiques nationwide—and her personal passion for staging, remodeling, and helping friends and clients with their homes—real estate became a natural next step.

Today, Mary Beth channels her love of people and place into helping clients find not just a house, but a home.
